About me

Nearly 20 years in retail technology is the central thread of my experience: from Microsoft POS and desktop software, head-office systems and devices to ecommerce, CERP and cross-platform products. AI continues that journey, informed by real business operations.

I’m Houman Masnavi, a technology entrepreneur, software architect and CEO of YasnaSystem. My path began with electronics and software development and grew into enterprise platforms, retail systems and applied AI.

I see a good product as the intersection of three things: understanding the business problem, coherent architecture and following the outcome into real operations. My work moves between strategic decisions and engineering details.

From engineering to technology management

Electrical and electronics engineering at Iran University of Science and Technology provided the foundation. An MSc at Shahid Beheshti University and a PhD in Information Technology Management at Allameh Tabataba’i University added an organisational perspective. My doctoral research addressed an e-government implementation model for countering corruption in Iran.

Building across two markets

At YasnaSystem and Yasna System Novin, I work on enterprise products and the CERP ecosystem. BritEat / BritPOS has added the experience of shaping hospitality and retail products around the needs of the UK market.

My focus today

Turning AI from an answering tool into an execution capability: orchestrating specialised agents, connecting models to existing systems through YasnaMCP and designing workflows in which people set the direction and intelligent tools move the work forward.
