Nearly two decades in retail technology

From Microsoft POS localisation and head office to devices, ecommerce, CERP and AI: a connected engineering journey.

Nearly two decades in retail means working with the parts that need to function together in a real store: checkout, inventory, finance, branches, customers and devices. That experience extends beyond any single product name or technology generation.

1. Checkout foundations and localisation

Extending and localising Microsoft POS is one of the foundations of this body of work: building extensions, adapting Persian experiences, customising receipts and checkout panes, and adding store-specific data and workflows. It provides a detailed understanding of what happens behind a seemingly simple sale.

2. The store as part of a network

Store-to-head-office communication, product and supplier exchange, purchasing, transfers and financial integration expand the problem from a register to an organisation. HQ services, voucher engines and accounting cores form an important part of that layer.

3. The detail of each trade and device

Dibal, Digi, Aclas and CAS scales, price checkers, customer displays, kiosks, kitchen printers and handhelds each require specialist work. Cake orders and confectionery albums, restaurant tables and weighing workflows are examples of turning generic software into trade-specific solutions.

4. Connecting physical and online sales

Ecommerce, Snapp Express, SnappFood and DigiKala Jet orders, digital menus, loyalty and messaging extend the sales loop. The shared challenge is keeping information and workflows coordinated across channels.

5. Newer generations: CERP, BritEat and AI

CERP carries these domains into enterprise architecture and cross-platform clients. BritEat / BritPOS extends product experience into the UK market, while YasnaMCP and AI orchestration open a new chapter in connecting intelligence with real operations.

These are connected parts of one professional journey: some standalone products, some specialist subsystems and some integrations. Their depth and continuity are what make the body of work meaningful.
